WHAT IS REFORMER PILATES?
The Pilates Reformer is a remarkable apparatus meticulously crafted to bring length and space to your body.
Diverging from traditional workouts, the Reform employs spring tension, creating internal pressure that promotes the elongation of your spine and muscles. By engaging every muscle, the Pilates Reformer not only sculpts a toned core but also plays a crucial role in achieving a leaner and more defined physique.
THE BENEFITS OF PILATES?

- Decreases back pain as it focuses on stabilizing the spinal muscles
- Elongates muscles and spine for improved flexibility
- Sculpts and strengthens core muscles
- Improves posture
- Improves sex life by improving pelvic floor strength

Frequently Asked Questions
What to wear?
The most important thing to remember when choosing clothing for Pilates class is comfort and flexibility. The best clothes to wear to Pilates classes are ones that are form-fitting. Loose, baggy clothing will not only make it difficult to move, but also prevent the instructor from observing your form. The key to Pilates is your form, and your instructor will need to assess your body alignment and symmetry to see if there are any areas that need improvement. You also need to wear stretchy materials to help you exercise without restraint.
How many pilates classes to see results?
Joseph Pilates (the founder of Pilates method) has a famous quote: “In 10 sessions you will feel the difference, in 20 you will see the difference, and in 30 you’ll have a whole new body.” In general, best to aim for 2 sessions per week to experience noticeable improvement.
Are yoga and pilates the same?
Yoga encourages participants to move to the limit of their range of movement. It uses deep stretches which require flexibility and mobility of the joints. Pilates uses smaller more precise movements that require stability of the core muscles while mobilising the joints. Also, for Reformer Pilates equipment is use.
How often should I do pilates?
You will feel the benefits most when you practice consistently 2-3 times per week. Pilates doesn’t get easier, you just become better at it. The more you practice, the more you will come to learn the nuances with each exercise and how sometimes the most fundamental are the most challenging!
Can I do pilates when I am pregnant?
Pilates is a non-impact workout that increases flexibility, strength and muscle tone, and is safe to practice during pregnancy. Because it focuses on your core, practicing Pilates on a regular basis can improve posture, alleviate backaches, and ultimately help with labor and delivery.
Is Reformer Pilates a low-impact exercise?
Yes, Reformer Pilates is considered a low-impact exercise, putting less stress on joints while still delivering effective results.
Is Reformer Pilates suitable for rehabilitation purposes?
